The government of the Republic of Korea is deeply concerned about the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)’s recent attacks on the property and personnel of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and condemns all actions that threaten UNIFIL’s safety.

The ROK government reminds that attacks against UNIFIL are a violation of international humanitarian law and of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and urges all parties to observe international obligations under any circumstances.
